Favorite Restaurant

As a student studying abroad in Italy, you would expect my favorite restaurant to be one that serves italian food. But no. My favorite restaurant in Florence is FirenZen. FirenZen is an asian noodle bar located right near my apartment on Via Guelfa. The best part about this place? They deliver.

What made me fall in love with FirenZen is their dumplings. They are probably the best dumplings I have ever had in my life. My go-to order is their stir fried pork dumplings. They also have steamed dumplings, noodle dishes, rice dishes, seafood dishes and desserts. As for drinks, they offer multiple matcha drinks; matcha bubble tea, matcha lattes, hot matcha tea, and iced matcha tea.

FirenZen has many different options for vegans, vegetarians and also those who eat gluten-free. If you want to eat in the comfort of your own home, FirenZen is available for deliveree on deliveroo. They also offer you the option to order online and pick-up you’re food to take home. However, if you want to dine in the restaurant, they have outdoor and indoor seating. There is a small seating area in front of the restaurant and a few tables behind the restaurant. Personally, I like to sit in the back because it is secluded and nicely lit up by candles and hanging lights.

I don’t know whether I am sick of eating italian food all the time or just too lazy to cook, but my roommates and I find ourselves ordering FirenZen to our apartment more and more frequently these days.
